What We Do
V-EXCHANGE develops innovative Virtual Exchange experiences connecting universities, educators, youth organisations, and young people across Albania, North Macedonia, Kosovo, and Bulgaria.
Through digital collaboration, intercultural dialogue, and AI-supported learning methodologies, the project aims to make international education more accessible, inclusive, and sustainable.

Project Objectives
The V-EXCHANGE project aims to achieve six key objectives over 36 months of implementation.
Expanding access to international learning
Provide virtual exchange opportunities for students and educators who have limited access to traditional physical mobility.
Implementing structured Virtual Exchanges
Design, pilot and implement structured Virtual Exchange activities for students and educators across partner institutions.
Strengthening digital and intercultural competences
Develop digital skills, online collaboration, intercultural communication and teamwork in international learning environments.
Training educators and facilitators
Train educators, youth workers and facilitators in Virtual Exchange methodologies, digital tools and online facilitation techniques.
Promoting inclusion, diversity and active participation
Ensure equal access for young people with fewer opportunities and promote active citizenship, democratic participation and European values.
Ensuring sustainability and institutional integration
Create a sustainable model for integrating Virtual Exchange into curricula, youth programmes and long-term cooperation among partner institutions.

36 months of collaborative development, piloting, evaluation, and sustainability activities.
Project Foundation & Setup
Kick-off meeting, project coordination setup, risk management, website launch, first press release, social media campaign launch, and completion of the Virtual Exchange Training Toolkit.
Training, Curriculum & Pilot Activities
Development of the Virtual Exchange curriculum, first Train-the-Trainer Workshop, online learning modules, pilot Virtual Exchange activities, facilitator certification, mid-term evaluation, and academic and policy roundtables.
Full Implementation, Impact & Policy Uptake
Full implementation of Virtual Exchange across partner institutions, Gamification and AI Integration Guide, learning impact assessment, Best Practices Guide, curriculum integration, signed institutional agreements, and policy recommendations.
Sustainability, Final Dissemination & Legacy
Final conference, final conference proceedings, social media engagement reporting, long-term collaboration network, sustainability and future funding strategy, and final project review.
